I am not a twitcher and do not tick birds off a list, or even have a list.
But I do get a buzz out of seeing or photogaphing a new bird ,this week I managed to see three new species first was a group of Tawny Crowned Honeyeaters ,boy, I thought spinebills where quick but I think these little rockets are even faster ,photos later.
Next day I was getting some photos of Yellow faced H/E and noticed another bird with them so I snapped a few shots, not that good but good enough for ID they were Black Chinned H/E
Later that day while after white plumed H/E (seems to be a lot H/E around at the moment) they where chasing some smaller birds which turned out to be Brown Headed H/E again the photos aren't great but good enough for a positive ID
The weather has turned nasty now ,as soon as it comes good I will be back to get some better photos ,heres hoping anyway!
So that's where all the Honeyeaters are. No wonder I can't find any at my place. Give them back sparrow, they are mine
Can't wait to see the photos. Weather just turned very nasty here too, cold and windy.
