You might remember that I planted some small winter flowering natives in pots. I bought some that stay small so grow well in larger pots and I can move them around. All of them are very successful in feeding countless birds.
There is one female Eastern Spinebill and one female Crescent Honeyeater feeding and collecting pollen all day long. They take it to their nests somewhere , so just one tiny plant , not larger than 80cm ,seems sufficient to sustain a brood .
Now isn’t a lesson we all can learn in this? Just a few flowers are enough to bring up the next generation of some birds.

All I know, it's one of so many different Grevilleas. Someone will tell us, I hope. I forgot to keep the lable
