to all that have spoken to me in the past, it is in my best intrest to share with you that i have finally seen a red capped parrot in the wild on my way to work 2day. sitting on a powerline along scenic drive in wanneroo. Perth Australia. after hunting for a sighting in edgewater, my search is finally, unfortunatly i was on my push bike and didnt get time to take a snap shot so here is one from google.

Lots down here in Mandurah.  I have a lovely pair which visit my birdbath every day.  They're rather partial to eating eucalypt flowers so if you have any varieties flowering nearby you might find them there.

I feel very privilaged as I have a family of Red Capped Parrots, Mum, Dad and two babies who visit my garden every day early morning and evening to feed from my seed tray.

These birds are just gorgeous and very quiet, often sitting in my trees without  making a noise.

I love having my breakfast outside in the morning and admiring their beauty.
