Could someone please confirm that I have a Yellow Thornbill and three of the Brown Gerygone? They are so small and fast that it has taken a while to get some clearer shots. Sue

I think you have got right your self? A nice yellow tummy and they love wattle trees. second bird just not to sure, white eye ring , the tail has more white then a brown gerygone .It just could be a western gerygone . Not sure were you live?

Thanks Darinnightowl. I live in Sydney and these are all from the Warriewood area. The banding on the tail (in the third photo of the four) and the white throat confused me somewhat.
Maybe you you got all The ID right but thanks for letting me hav a go,I do enjoy! Even when I am wrong. It made me do a little bit of reading . Mangrove W.. is a far south as New castle and the brown W... on the coast like warriewood we're you live. Enjoy your weekend.
