He is a perfectly formed ball of feathers! What a gorgeous photo, but he doesn't look impressed by the weather does he.
First off it is a great photo.
But is it a he, the beak color and the eye patch look to me like it is a young lady.

Great shot . It makes you wonder how the feel the cold. I'm sitting in my lounge room in front of the fire , Adelaide has a severe weather warning alert ,wind & showers and I look out the window and see a birdbath full of NewHolland honeyeaters and wattlebirds .

narly , I think they just do what this boy does, fluff up and cover their feet.
Headsy, the boys keep their "blue tails" and are plain, the girls have "grey tails" with a red patch around the eye.
