their song is devine

I followed this beautiful sound this afternoon, thinking I hadn't heard it before. Then I discovered it belonged to a bird I have seen often and taken many photos of. It is the White-browed Scrub-wrensurprise. There were a few of them around, singing while sitting in different trees. They must have been "in love"heart, I have never noticed them sing like that. One was nice enough to let me take a few photos, here they are:

It's wonderful when you hear and "old favourite" sing a different tune isn't it?  Beautiful shots as always M-L.  I'm with you, sounds like a little serenading was afoot wink

Lovely photos. :)

The other day I was having a discussion with my mother about what type of bird a particular bird was in an email she had sent me, and I thought it was a White Browed Scrubwren. I also commented that I had never seen one before. The very next day I was out bushwalking, and lo and behold, I spotted one hanging out with a couple of Pardalotes. :)
