Taking my birding ops very much when I can get them lately, as busy with work, so dropping in at Bald Hill Beach about 100klm North of Adelaide was definately on the agenda, seeing as I had to pass it going to :-( ......work.
Got up extra early and arrived just as the light was nice and had a great hour in magic conditions till the fog rolled in.
Bar-tailed Godwits were a bonus and fun to watch, Double-banded and Red Capped Plover patrolling the waters edge.
Fly bys are always nice at this beach with Pied Cormorants and Black Swans as regulars.
All in all a nice way to start the day. Then the fog rolled in. :-)

Another great set Rick. I too love the DB Plover. Is that a gold nugget it's standing next to!
As always a fantastic collection.
Really like the swan flying formation
