Wow, I've never seen one of these in the flesh & now I know why. I've probably walked past one on may occasions & hav'nt noticed the Bird. They are so well camouflaged into the tree especially that 2nd shot, I spent a few seconds looking for the 2nd Owl & there it is!

Just one tiny correction Dennis, Frogmouths are not Owls, they belong to the Nightjars.

They do look kind of funny front on though.
