This one was in the trees near the bbq on the southern side of the creek (East of the bridge). I have seen some adults elsewhere also but mostly their bigger cousins.

Thats right, Little Friarbirds are unusal right near the coast on the Mid North Coast but can find them more easily once west of the highway, i.e. Wauchope or Taree
