One of the very few Butterflies that I know what it is called, Blue Tiger.

A cicada I think. Torresian Crows eat these things as I heard a cicada chirping it's head off whilst being carted away by a Torresian Crow. This is the only cicada I've ever seen, and it was in my back yard on my brown onions (hiding from birds and where birds don't go for the most part).

True to their name, Sooty Oystercatchers often eat molluscs, but they also take other invertebrates, such as crustaceans and worms, opportunistically — they eat whatever is abundant at that site.

Sometimes you need to be clever to safely eat the food. This crow ate from the belly of this toad (Parry's Lagoon, WA) which was pleasing to witness.

Don't like being reminded that cute little geckoes are frequently snapped up by kookaburras and the like. Got a real soft spot for the little guys! Spotted one on the bedroom wall the other day and it made my day.
Superb Fairy Wren showing he's not just a pretty face by taking on a hoverfly of some description.

I took this in our backyard yesterday middle of the day. I don't think it is a rat or mouse but not really sure. It was difficult to photograph as I was feeling so sorry for the poor critter... But Kookaburra downed it in one gulp.
This Caspian Tern landed right next to a Pelican which didn't hesitate to try to take the fish from the Tern.
