Burnett Heads and Port Bundaberg

Went for a drive to Burnett Heads and Port Bundaberg yesterday. Any corrections on names would be welcome.

Ok so the Richard's Pipit was a bit big in the original post. This one should be a bit more like it.

Nice Shots Trev,

I need to get out and have a go with the camera but I still need to work out how to use it properly.

Just a couple of name changes;

I reckon the first birds are Marsh Sandpipers- Long needle thin bill, white underside and greeny yellow legs. All round less stocky/solid than a godwit.

and I think the fourth shot (third bird) is a Sharp-tailed Sanpiper- Slightly rufous cap, gradually fading streaking on breast and lacks the white "patch" on the shoulder above the wing.

Cheers,

Yep, I agree with Bourke's ID's

I'll go along with those name changes Bourke, I'm a long way short of being an expert on waders that's for sure.
