I need to get out and have a go with the camera but I still need to work out how to use it properly.
Just a couple of name changes;
I reckon the first birds are Marsh Sandpipers- Long needle thin bill, white underside and greeny yellow legs. All round less stocky/solid than a godwit.
and I think the fourth shot (third bird) is a Sharp-tailed Sanpiper- Slightly rufous cap, gradually fading streaking on breast and lacks the white "patch" on the shoulder above the wing.
Ok so the Richard's Pipit was a bit big in the original post. This one should be a bit more like it.
