Oh, now I just have some serious fan-tailed Fantail envy Beautiful timing and gorgeous shots windshear - you weren't wrong when you mentioned you got some good shots of these fast little devils - more than good, fantastic!! Wishing we had Rufous here in Tas too, but I'm greedy - they're just scrumptious little birds
Great shots with the tail faned, i have been trying to get shots like this but the little buggers move around to quick for me.

Wonderful shots - especially those with the fan spread are really spectacular.
The rufuous fantail i have had no luck with - too quick for me as well. So its a pleasure to see your shots.
Hey Windshear, lovely images of these tiny Birds, from the other comments I see these Birds are not easy to photograph so well done.
You have to love those fantails, quite striking to look at.
Nice work.
Cheers.
Thanks guys.
Yes, they're quite the hyperactive little birds.
Great shots, well done ,I have been trying to get a descent spread wing and tail shot for a while but usually end up with a shot of their butts.
I think there trying to tell me something !
Like'em , carry on , keep up the good work
