Rufous Fantails (and some Grey Ones)

Found these little darlings yesterday. #3 & #4 are of a young one who was hiding in the lantana.

Wonderful shots - especially those with the fan spread are really spectacular.

The rufuous fantail i have had no luck with - too quick for me as well. So its a pleasure to see your shots.

Hey Windshear, lovely images of these tiny Birds, from the other comments I see these Birds are not easy to photograph so well done.

You have to love those fantails, quite striking to look at.

Great shots, well done ,I have been trying to get a descent spread wing and tail shot for a while but usually end up with a shot of their butts.

I think there trying to tell me something !

Oh, now I just have some serious fan-tailed Fantail envy cheeky  Beautiful timing and gorgeous shots windshear - you weren't wrong when you mentioned you got some good shots of these fast little devils - more than good, fantastic!!  Wishing we had Rufous here in Tas too, but I'm greedy - they're just scrumptious little birds heart
